German Stollen Cake Recipe with traditional, marzipan and chocolate chip versions + a sugar-free option

Addictive  Chocolate-Chip Stollen

Ingredients 

– Marzipan (optional) – Candied Lemon & Orange Peel – Raisins or Chocolate Chips – Almonds – Rum – Yeast – Milk – Sugar or zero-calorie sugar substitute such as monk fruit or erythritol – Salt – Cinnamon – Cardamom – Nutmeg or Mace – Unsalted Butter – Egg – Vanilla – Lemon Zest TOPPING – For traditional Stollen: Powdered Sweetener of Choice – For chocolate Stollen: Chocolate Icing  

Make the dough with rum-soaked raisins or chocolate chips and fold in the optional homemade marzipan.
